at Ann Arbor (Michigan, USA).
Four days of origami and creativity — from May 14 to 17, 2026.
We propose also 3 excursions to enjoy quality time together
in a relaxed atmosphere, fostering new friendships and artistic connections.

Excursions are optional and require an additional fee. Transportation (Uber) and museum admission are at your own expense.

May 13 – A Day in Detroit
- The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation: a world-class collection of antique machinery, pop culture items, automobiles, locomotives, aircraft, and iconic artifacts such as President Kennedy’s Lincoln Continental, Edison’s last breath sealed in a glass tube, and the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
- Greenfield Village: a living history museum featuring authentic buildings from the 17th century to today, with costumed interpreters and live craft demonstrations (pottery, glass-blowing, tin shops). Includes the original Wright Brothers’ bicycle shop and Henry Ford’s birthplace.
May 13 evening: Welcome Dinner at Beth’s House.

May 18 – A Day in Ann Arbor
- Morning: Paper-Making Workshop at Beth’s House
- Afternoon: Discover Ann Arbor, one of the most charming small cities in the U.S., known for its walkable downtown, botanical gardens, and rich cultural life:
- Nichols Arboretum Peony Garden: one of the largest peony gardens in the country. With luck, we’ll catch the peonies in full bloom.
- Matthei Botanical Gardens: beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens, featuring one of North America’s finest Bonsai and Penjing collections.
- Museums: Museum of Art, Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, Museum of Natural History, and the Law Quadrangle.
- Kerrytown & Farmers Market: specialty markets and unique gift shops.
- Dawn Treader Book Shop: a must-see for book lovers — a truly unique place.
May 19–20 – Family Cottage Retreat (up to 20 places only, first come, first served)
Beth’s family cottage is located about one hour from Ann Arbor in the Irish Hills. With 8 bedrooms and a loft space, it offers a peacefulartist retreat where you can relax, swim, kayak, canoe — and of course, fold paper! No single rooms & Food will be charged separately.
Who Can Attend?
CfC is dedicated to Origami Designers and Artists. Please register as an artist on cfcorigami.com.
- Young origami artists (16+) with a few designs are welcome.
- The convention is not open to collectors or autograph seekers.
Please Note
The registration fee goes entirely to the CfC organization budget, with no profit for Origami-Shop.
Automatic gifts from the store are not included unless you also order additional items (books, papers, etc.) that meet the gift thresholds.
If you purchase additional items, they will be shipped separately — no products will be brought to the convention to save on shipping costs.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be made via your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer).
- Cancellation 30 days before the convention: Full refund
- Cancellation between 30 days and 48 hours before: 80% refund
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival: No refund
- Once the event or stay has started, no refund will be issued for early departure.
