Do you need to become an origami expert?
Expert in animation, expert in design, expert in folding...
How many times have you hidden your talents for fear of not being good enough? How many origami works are locked in boxes, never revealed to the public? How many animations have you refused for fear of not shining enough?
The real question is not "Am I expert enough to share?", but rather "Why not start now?".
Expertise is not a final goal, it's a journey. On an expertise scale of 1 to 100, even if you are at 4, you already have enough to inspire and help those who are at 1, 2, or 3. Every step of your journey is legitimate and can bring value to others.
Start showing who you are little by little. You will definitely touch someone.
20 years ago, I started sharing my modest origami creations. You know the rest...
Start from who you are, from what you love in origami and show it. Take example from Madonna Yoder (Gathering Folds), who has gradually built a real community around her.
By revealing who you are and what you love, you will start to attract a community around you. And as you accumulate experience, you will naturally become an expert in your field.
Time flies. Don't wait to get started. Animate, fold, create as best you can. Share your passion and let your talent shine. You never know who you will inspire along the way.
It's time to show yourself, to stand out.
