Pack of 10 Natural Kraft Sheets – 30x30 cm

Kraft paper is exceptionally durable. In fact, “Kraft” means “strength” in German. However, typical kraft paper is often too thick or of too poor quality to create beautiful origami models.

The Kraft paper offered here is exceptional because it is:
- Extremely thin: 28 g/m²;
- Of very high quality;
- Very resistant to folding (with long, unbreakable fibers)
- Suitable for wet-folding (high mechanical resistance when wet)

In particular, it likely offers the most remarkable combination of thinness and strength among papers, making it especially interesting for highly complex folds such as Kamiya Satoshi’s “Ryuzin.”
 
It can be used alone or adhered to metallic paper.
 
This quality of Kraft paper is usually NOT available for individual sale. To obtain it, we purchased it directly from the factory and then packaged it into 30x30 cm squares. Vincent Floderer and the Crimp team have chosen this type of Kraft paper for their crumpling projects.
