Compared with Arches paper, it offers a more natural texture with subtle plant inclusions that give it a unique handcrafted character.

Lokta fiber comes from a shrub that grows in Nepal at high altitude in the eastern Himalayas. The traditional production method consists of beating the carefully cleaned bark without breaking the fibers, which gives the paper exceptional strength and a balance of suppleness and stability. This fully handmade process results in a durable, lightly textured sheet that is ideal for expressive or organic models.
