This is the finest lokta there is! Almost as thin as tissue paper, it retains all the qualities of lokta, such as sturdiness and softness!

Which weight to choose? 

• 18 gsm:
  The sheet is so thin that you need to prepare it before folding:
  - Laminate it to another paper (e.g. sandwich paper) 
  - Treat with methylcellulose (wallpaper paste)
   
• 25 gsm:
  The sheet can be used untreated. However, methylcellulose reinforcement may be useful for certain models.

Lokta paper is a very popular paper for folders because of its exceptional softness, smoothness and strength, while offering a silky texture that perfectly imitates, for example, an animal's coat. Many origami artists, such as Anicé Claudéon and Gachepapier, often use it to enhance their folding. 

It comes from a shrub growing in Nepal, high in the eastern Himalayas. The exceptional quality of the paper is due to the beating of the carefully cleaned bark, which does not break the fibers but softens them.

- Important : The 48x70 or 50x75 cm sheets will be sent to you folded. They will therefore contain traces of folds that should not affect the final appearance of your model. By ordering this paper, you agree to receive these folded sheets.
