Origami Symphony #6 - Striped Snakes Changing Scales

Welcome to the world premiere of the Sixth Symphony of Origami! Structured like a musical symphony in four movements, these chapters illustrate the richness and variety of origami. From striped snakes to impressive jungle animals, from colorful tetrahedrons to a trip to the desert, many origami discoveries await you.

This book contains 38 original models, each one a masterpiece by origami master John Montroll. Each model is folded from a single square. For the first movement, several differently striped snakes are presented. The jungle animals in the second movement include an elephant, a lion, two hippos, a rhinoceros, a giraffe and more. Geometric beauty is found in the tetrahedrons with colorful patterns in the third movement. The fourth movement ends with desert animals, including a super detailed scorpion. All are of varying levels of difficulty.

  • Second Movement: Andante: Frolicking in the Jungle
  • Third Movement: An Octet of Colorful Tetrahedra with a Trio of Grand Pyramids
