SHADOW THAI #2 – 95 gsm

Exclusive double-sided paper from Origami-Shop, featuring a deep, elegant black contrasted with a coloured reverse. Thicker than the current 60 gsm version, this 95 gsm edition offers excellent stiffness and a silky, lokta-like texture that adds strength, volume and character to your models.

Why this heavier paper weight is interesting

  • The 95 gsm weight provides outstanding stiffness and stability, perfect for models that require firmness, structure and volume.
  • This paper is ideal for wet-folding and methylcellulose, allowing you to sculpt rounded shapes, lock curves and create deep, sculptural volumes.
  • Thanks to its thickness, it also makes an excellent background for photographing your models, offering either a perfectly even matte black or, depending on the side used, a unique coloured background that enhances your creations.
  • This paper comes from the very first Shadow Thai production run. It has now been replaced by the 60 gsm version, so 95 gsm stocks will not be renewed. A rare edition, available only while stocks last.

This paper is an exclusive product, manufactured only for our shop. We receive it in large sheets, then cut it down and pack it ourselves.

Important: sizes from 40 × 40 cm up to 60 × 60 cm are shipped folded. They therefore show fold lines, which do not affect the final appearance of the model. By placing an order, you agree to receive these folded sheets.
