(Read more)minimal shaping required, and really capture the spirit of each animal with simple lines and folds. Hagiwara is also one of the best for Australian animals: the two kangaroos and the emu are amazing and the poses are so life-like. Everything is so much fun to fold, and even the models which didn't impress from the photo, such as the horse, are just so cute in real life. I love that the animals are 3D and look good from all angles when displayed. I haven't finished the book yet but each model is a treat to discover.

The diagrams are very clear, and every model I have made so far, despite not being very complex, has been a delight to fold. The models are very clean and the folding sequences very enjoyable and satisfying, and look great when done. I would recommend this to anyone at an intermediate level or above.

Fantastic book! If you're chasing some really nice 3d models, this is the way to go. The level is up ... (Read more)per intermediate to lower expert in my opinion. I had a good deal of fun with quite a few of the models already, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Also, all the moves somehow always makes sense later on. The author is very good at producing models with minimal crease-lines on the finished model.

One great young artist indeed. We will hear from him more in the future. Some foldings are clever an ... (Read more)d surprisingly as some from the master Yoshizawa himself. Only the layout is sometimes irritating with the curves and not stringent left to right structure. But this can be find in many other books. I am glad to bought the book and the PDF but only use the book. Paper is paper and on small devices reading the PDF and try to fold is not convincing.
