Coming from the traditional craft villages of northern Vietnam, Dó paper is a living material rich in history. Handmade from the bark of the Dó tree reduced to pulp, it has long been used for Đông Hồ folk paintings and calligraphy. Its soft texture, light weight and strength make it a highly valued paper among expert folders of the Vietnam Origami Group for creating spectacular models.

This version is the finest Dó Unryu available, with an exceptional weight of 18 gsm. This pack includes 8 sheets in 8 different colors, ideal for experimenting with variations while keeping an ultra-light yet strong paper perfectly suited for complex multilayer folding.

Its flexibility allows it to absorb thickness without bulk. For the most technical models, it can be useful to reinforce the paper with methylcellulose, or apply a thin layer over the entire sheet before folding to improve crease sharpness and structure.
