This paper is slightly thicker than most unryu I can find in craft stores, so it holds up better and ... (Lesen Sie mehr) has deeper, richer colors. My favorite to work with so far.

After a few experiments, I prefer using unryu/foil laminate, rather than coating the paper with meth ... (Lesen Sie mehr)yl-cellulose. The finished model holds its shape very well, and the foil is slightly visible through the paper giving a slightly shiny appearance.I managed to ruin a couple of sheets before I got the technique right! A hint: unless the model is duo-coloured, there's no point using a sheet of unryu on *both* sides when one of them will be hidden inside the model!

The tissue foil made from unryu paper is a lot better than from normal tissue paper, but the paper c ... (Lesen Sie mehr)an't be used alone because it doesn't hold a crease and some sheets aren't perfectly square.

It is a very well made paper. It is very beautiful and great for making papers such as double tissue ... (Lesen Sie mehr) and tissue foil. The paper is perfect for models that have many layers within the model itself. It is very thin and holds creases very well.

I have discovered this amazing paper after a while I first bought it, when I decided to check how it ... (Lesen Sie mehr) performed gluing it to a foil sheet. I must say that I'm extremely impressed with the performance it can achieve. I could fold many models with a high artistic difficulty much easier than with Tant paper (that used to be my favourite), even if wet folded. So Unryu+foil outperforms Tant with models that require a lot of artistic shaping. The downside is that you must make your own sheet by gluing.
It would be great to have already glued sheets from origami-shop.com (hint!).
