This is one of the more unusual papers that I have worked with. It has colour on one side and gold o ... (Lire la suite)r silver metallic foil on the other. The paper is crumpled and has a very strong texture that makes animals folded from it look really life-like. It can be shaped really easily due to the foil, but unfortunately finished models are very delicate and can be squashed or bent easily too as the foil is so malleable so it's not good for models that you want to handle or move a lot. It's the best paper I have folded so far for photographing, if you play with the light a bit, you can really make the model come to life. It's quite soft but holds the creases well, easy to work with.

Le papier est relativement épais mais se compresse bien avec un peu d'aide (colle spéciale origami). Surtout que le côté métallisé est moins prononcé que sur la soie métallisée ou le foil japonais: il aide moins bien à maintenir le modèle dans sa position. Là encore, la colle est bien utile.
Le papier dégage une sensation "chaude" plus proche des papiers à base de fibres longs que des autres papiers métallisés.

It's a shame it doesn't come in more colors because I would probably buy them all.
It can be a bit fragile and rip on the edges if not handled carefully, and may not be suitable for models that have few layers supporting the top part, because is a bit soft, but still........ GREAT PAPER
