Très bon moyen de tester une large variété de papiers. Même si la taille est limitée pour certa... (Lire la suite)ins modèles, on se fait tout de même une bonne idée des possibilités de chaque type de papier. Client depuis ses débuts à la boutique, je m'étais habitué à utiliser une gamme assez restreinte de papiers vendus ici. Grâce à ces packs, j'ai pu envisager des combinaisons papier/modèle qui ne me serait pas venu à l'esprit sinon. |

Très bien pour découvrir des papiers de qualité, les papiers sont bien ordonnées. Seul bémol po... (Lire la suite)ur moi, je trouve que le format 24cm est un peu petit pour vraiment tester certains papiers. Proposer un pack découverte en 30/35cm (quitte à augmenter le prix) pourrait être intéressant.

Pack impératif à prendre si l'on vient de découvrir ce site et que l'on est nouveau dans le domai... (Lire la suite)ne des papiers pour origami. Il est très intéressant de découvrir comment ils se plient (petit conseil perso: noter ses impressions, le pack contenant quand même un certain nombre de feuilles).
Les feuilles arrivent conditionnées, triées et rangées dans cinq sachets correspondant chacun à une catégorie (sachets faits dans un plastique recyclable par ailleurs !). Certaines, comme le rouketsu et le biotope sagan ne sont même pas (ou plus ?) disponibles en boutique ! |

Réponse d'Origami-shop : Le pack a depuis été mis à jour pour faciliter l'identification de chaque papier. Il est constitué aujourd'hui de 5 sous packs :
1) Papiers tests
2) Papiers métallisés
3) Papiers extra fins
4) Papiers fins
5) Papiers épais
Dans chacun de ces packs, une liste précise le nom des papiers qui sont classés dans l'ordre de cette liste. Astuce : A l'ouverture des packs, avant de mélanger tous les papiers, il faut suivre avec la liste et ainsi repérer le nom de chaque papier. |

J'ai néanmoins une proposition à faire : un pack découverte "de luxe", avec soit :
- des papiers plus grands : au lieu d'osciller entre 15 et 24 cm, passer à des tailles entre 20 et 35 cm, par exemple ;
- des papiers plus chers : mettre par exemple du washi deluxe, ou autre.

I have made various models out of this paper and the paper is so crisp and easy to fold and the models turn out the best of all papers I've used. Will definitely be buying again. Resulta muy util para conocer los distintos papeles y sus utilidades. Sin embargo algunos papeles so... (Lire la suite)n de tamaño tan reducido que sólo son aplicables a figuras extremadamente sencillas, cuando por sus caracteristicas son ideales para figuras complejas. Quiza serÃa más conveniente reducir el numero de papeles para incluir mayores tamaños en algunos de ellos.Por otro lado, es sorprendente la capacidad de modelado del Tissue foil,espectacular, pese al brillo a veces no deseado de una de las caras. |

And if you ordered paper you would not want it typed on actual paper what type it is. I still have 3 types I am trying to figure out. I was and am very pleased with all of my orders. The pack delievers exactly what it promises: a preview of the papers available in the shop. The foll... (Lire la suite)owing items state why I am happy with my purchase: + the package gives an overview of many kinds of paper - not only can I try out different sheets, but also find out about them from the descriptions provided to them; furthermore: the paper in the shop stops to be a review accompanied by stats such as g/cm^2, it's an actual product that I have a chance of experiencing and evaluating; + there is a value in exploring - open the package with your friends and show them different kinds, some papers are so delicate and thin, people will be impressed; + helps decide what I wanted - I did not know what kind of paper I wanted before, now I know pretty well; Summary: a great idea, inexpensive and informative, also entertaining. If I were to suggest anything to improve, it would be adding some exemplary diagrams for each sheet type to illustrate its properties more thoroughly. That being said it's still an excellent initiative and it really solves a lot of issues. |

I really like it! I am one who likes to do complex models so when I saw the colorful paper I wasn't ... (Lire la suite)interested in it. But when I saw this pack I gave in and bought it. I do not regret my decision. (I think that most of the paper inside are really good for intermediate origami models.) It makes your models look very professional and clean looking. |

Tolles Papierset, aber leider ist die Zuordnung, um welche Papiere es sich handelt, ein bißchen mü... (Lire la suite)hsam und teilweise unklar, da nur eine Gesamtinfo beiliegt. Wäre aber auch schwierig, die Info jedem einzelnen Blatt beizufügen - drantackern geht ja nicht :-) Das macht das Nachbestellen der einzelnen Papiere etwas aufwendiger, aber es lohnt sich. |

Mes premiers pas d'origamiste m'ont conduit sur ce site, et forcément quand on y connait pas grand ... (Lire la suite)chose en papier on sait pas trop quoi choisir. S'il y a bien un pack intéressant lorsqu'on découvre le pliage c'est bien celui ci, vous pouvez quasiment testé tous les types de papiers dans des formats tout à fait convenable. Merci de permettre aux plieurs de s'essayer avec tous ces papiers |

This is a great product. Almost every paper is very good.
TANT: Very good paper with a ni... (Lire la suite)ce texture, but it's pretty thick. Especially good for tessellations.
FOIL PAPER: Great for complex models, but the colors aren't very good.
ORIGAMI PAPER: Not very special, but still good.
ORIGAMI PAPER DOUBLE SIDED: Not very good paper. It's too thick and it tears easily.
TISSUE FOIL: Best paper I've ever folded with. Thin, strong and great for complex models.
UNRYU TISSUE PAPER: Extremely thin, looks nice.
LOKTA: Also great paper. Thin and strong.
KRAFT: Regular paper. Not very good.
TEST SHEETS: Just a larger version of printer paper.
KRAFT ALIOS: Very thin, but I don't like it.
IRIDECENT ORIGAMI PAPER: Very thin and very good paper. I made my first insect design with this paper. |

It arrived a few days late, but I loved the product. So, I am going to talk about every paper in thi... (Lire la suite)s pack. The 35x35cm Tant was amazing, with the Dragon Red I made the Patterned Tiles by Peter Budai. The green Kraft wasn't as good but I haven't made anything with it yet. The Tissue-Foil was my favorite, I made the Pegasus by Satoshi Kamiya, but lost it! The Kraft-Alios was terrific, I am froze on what to make with it!The Lokta is not like normal tissue, thicker and stronger and a much better quality. The Unryu is fabulous, I just don't have the MC to treat it! The Japanese foil, is very common, it comes in every origami paper pack, and with the 6 inch, I made the traditional Waterbomb! The origami paper, you have probably used it, but this is just in a much larger size. The test sheets, I know how to make them, because I have a rack of 68x80 cm paper, it is just large printer paper. The Elephant Hide, I just made the famous Fox Terrier by Francesco Javier Caboblanco. The packet of samples, I used every paper and this just arrived a week ago! Overall, I definetely recommend the buy! |

This is a nice sampling, though the washi and lokta it turns out is available at most art stores in ... (Lire la suite)the US in big sheets so no need to order it. Also they definitely require treatment with methylcellulose to get good results. |

I greatly appreciate the little free packet of samples (a lagniappe, as our Cajun neighbors say) since I can experiment with wet-folding, glueing to foil et cetera without ruining a nice big sheet. |
