I folded the hydrangae by Shuzo Fujimoto and Peter Budai, the end result looks amazing!, but it was ... (Read more)a struggle. The paper starts kind of like foil and super acurate, till reversing some folds, it does NOT want to click in the right position, and the more you fold the more it starts to behave like cloth. Anyway, I am done, the end result looks great, but never again... 3 stars for enjoyability, 5 for looks, and maybe 2 for ease of folding. |

It seems like this paper would act like unyru but it is more crinkly like foil without showing marks... (Read more) and being forgiving in that way. It holds folds and shape way better. I would recommend using this for insects or tessellations because of its thinness and ability to hold shape. I made the euthasanius beetle (which stacks up a large number of layers easily with this) and it turned out amazing like it should without working too hard on shaping. i would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to tackle a very hard model. |

I like this paper for intermediate origami models. I really like the thinness of this paper and the ... (Read more)durability of it. One thing I don't like about is that it doesn't refold on itself very well. i.e. When I make a mountain fold and then make that fold into a valley fold it doesn't work to well. It does really well for sink fold and if the sink folds are small but if I am sinking a large part of the model I find it hard. (It is easier to make that fold with kami paper then this paper. partly this happen because it is so thin.) Other than that it is amazing for folding a really complex model bases. |
