Usage Tips
Choosing the Format
- Complex models: favor a large sheet (48x48 cm and larger)
- Intermediate models: a 30x30 cm sheet is generally sufficient
Dry Folding
Ideal for tessellations, modular, and many intermediate models. Also suitable for complex models with few thickness overlaps.
Wet Folding
Technique 1 (Simplest)
First fold the model dry as far as possible. When the folds become more resistant, locally moisten the folding areas using a damp sponge or a water spray.
Technique 2
Fully moisten the sheet, then quickly fold the model before drying. Then air dry or use a hairdryer, maintaining certain areas if necessary. This method requires excellent knowledge of the folding sequence.
